Privacy Policy

Effective October 25, 2026.

1. Who is responsible for your data

Transland Expert Logistics (“Transland”, “we”) decides how and why your personal data is used for our shipping, tracking, quote and pickup services. Contact us about privacy at translandexpertlogistics@gmail.com.

2. What we collect

We do not ask for payment card numbers through this website.

3. Where it comes from

From you, from the sender who books a shipment for you, from carriers, ports and customs authorities who provide status updates, and from our team when they enter tracking updates.

4. Why we use it, and our legal bases

We do not sell personal data, and we do not use it for advertising or automated decision-making.

4A. Public tracking pages

Anyone who knows a tracking number can see that shipment’s status, route, facility locations, timeline and estimated delivery date. Tracking pages do not show names, phone numbers, email addresses or street addresses. Tracking numbers are randomly generated, but please share yours only with people you trust.

5. Who we share it with

6. International transfers

Shipping is international by nature. Sender and receiver details travel with the shipment to the carriers and authorities in the destination country, for example China or the United States, which may have different data-protection rules from your own country. We share only what is needed to move and clear the shipment. Our website data is hosted on our provider’s servers, which may be outside your country.

7. Cookies

We use only a strictly necessary session cookie, which protects our forms against forgery and keeps staff signed in. It is not used for advertising or tracking and expires when you close your browser. We do not currently use analytics or advertising cookies; if that changes we will update this policy and ask for consent where required.

8. How long we keep it

9. Security

The website is served over HTTPS, administrator access requires a login with role-based permissions, passwords are stored hashed, forms are protected against forgery and spam, and database queries are parameterised. No system is perfectly secure; we will notify affected people and authorities of a breach where the law requires.

10. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access your data, correct it, delete it, restrict or object to its use, receive a copy in a portable format, and withdraw consent where we rely on it. If you are in the EU or UK (GDPR) you may also complain to your data-protection authority. If you are a California resident (CCPA/CPRA) you may request to know, delete or correct your personal information, and we do not sell or share it for cross-context advertising. Email translandexpertlogistics@gmail.com and we will respond within 30 days. We may need to verify your identity, and some records must be kept by law.

11. Children

Our services are for adults. We do not knowingly collect data from children; if you think we have, contact us and we will delete it.

12. Changes

We will post updates on this page and change the effective date above. Material changes will be highlighted on the website.
